Six months ago we introduced our Bleacher Babe of the Month series, and needless to say, it has been a rousing success. So for March, we decided to up the ante a bit -- with a quartet!
So without further delay, from the Nashville Sports League kickball team "Pitch Please," I give you (from bottom left to right) Kelly Elaine, Audrey Moore, Briana Minter and Fay Dickens!

I've always loved playing sports, especially basketball, softball, and my favorite, kickball. I played center and forward for my high school basketball team, and I loved having the opportunity to be aggressive and blow off steam on the court. Back then, no one could get past me in the paint. :)
My favorite college basketball team is the Vanderbilt Commodores (men and women)! Win or lose, they put their hearts into the game and never give up without a fight!
My new favorite way to relieve stress is playing kickball. Our team is fun, but we're fierce, and we can hang with the best of them!
When it comes to football, I love to cheer for the Tennessee Titans, and if you haven't figured it out yet, I'm a diehard Vandy fan. I was born and raised to bleed Black & Gold, and I love the unyielding spirit of Vanderbilt athletics! Go 'Dores!

Growing up as an only child had its advantages. I had the best of both worlds in my opinion, shopping with my mom one day and playing catch with my dad the next. I grew up thinking that one day I was going to be a pro baseball player. Dad said I was a natural. :)
As I got older I began to participate in gymnastics, tennis and volleyball, all of which I still love. But in all honesty, I can't name one sport that I haven't tried at least once at some point or another.
Recently I started playing kickball and realized how much I needed to play sports to feel alive. Being part of a team and engaging in a little healthy competition never felt so good!

I grew up playing soccer. In my youth, we would practice for hours in the summer heat under the beating sun. Everyone looked forward to the victory of sweet treats and cold water at the end (thanks for all those oranges, mom). All the hard work, training and discipline were well worth it. One of the best feelings is when you realize that all the blood, sweat and tears are rewarded. Game time!
I remember those summer nights, playing the games underneath the lights. I've watched as the ball crosses into the net for the game-winning goal. My closest friends and family cheer and I feel the total satisfaction of that fleeting moment. Best. Feeling. Ever.
That same rush is exemplified as I attend a Nashville Predators hockey game. Every game I witness all the players come alive. The feeling of exhilaration overwhelms you when your closest friends and family explode with energy, cheering and hugs as you watch the puck cross into the net for the game-winning goal. Best. Feeling. Ever.

Four tries to go ten yards? Teams are given four-consecutive attempts to gain ten yards collectively, then given another four tries to go a whole ten yards more with no limits on these first downs?
The seemingly unattainable first down I heard my family so distraught over every Thanksgiving was simply the inability of the blue team called the Lions to advance the football ten yards when given four tries in a row.
What could possibly be so compelling about two teams receiving limitless second, third and fourth chances that would entice sane individuals to fill outdoor stadiums in horrific weather, paint their bodies and faces ridiculous colors (not that the idea of the "blue" lion isn't already ridiculous), and most importantly to me, serve dinner at 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving, 7-hours earlier than usual?
It was in my search to discover any semblance of reason behind a game of never-ending mulligans that I found the beauty of the sport and would inevitably help fill outdoor stadiums despite horrific weather; paint my face a bright orange in support of "orange" Volunteers; and yes, arrange my plans around the Thanksgiving Day games.

Cute bunch, but pitch please sounds more like a softball team name to me.
ReplyDeleteThe red head is smokin hot.
ReplyDeleteA redhead, a blonde and two brunettes. That's nice variety right there. Was that by design or did it just happen to work out that way? Lol
ReplyDeleteJust worked out that way. Lol
DeleteDoing a group thing is a cool changeup. Nice spread too.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Well done!
ReplyDeleteWhere were these pictures taken?
ReplyDeleteNashville, TN
DeleteA girls kickball league? Thats fucking awesome. Lol
ReplyDeleteNicely done ladies. Enjoyed reading it.
ReplyDeleteNothing special about any of these girls.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Either fat or mom looking
DeleteLook, we don't deal in models here. Just everyday girls that enjoy sports. They're all fully aware that they're leaving themselves open for heavy criticism by doing this, and they still do it, which is extremely admirable on their part. Everyone in this equation is also aware of the fact that there's different strokes for different folks, so no matter who we use during the course of this series, SOMEONE out there isn't going to particularly care for the girl being featured. Having said that, to say that someone in this spread is "fat" just makes you look like a complete internet troll, because none of them are. So please, go troll elsewhere.
DeleteThey're all nice looking girls Todd. Don't be a dick
ReplyDeleteIf you see a "fat" girl in this group you're a moron. And how exactly does one look like a "mom"? As if there's anything wrong with that in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI like how you guys switched it up this month and weny with multiple girls. Good stuff!
